Williamson County CASA Raises Over 100K at Annual Event

Williamson County CASA

The 7th annual Voices for Children event was held at The Barn at Sycamore Farms in Arrington, TN. The sold-out event raised more than $136,000 to support the work of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and those advocating for abused and neglected children in Williamson County.

The evening began with cocktails on the patio, and guests were invited to peruse the many luxury auction items offered, including a custom landscape design by Outdoor Classic Structures (valued at $2,500) and a luxury vacation in the Pedregal neighborhood of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico featuring a three-bedroom condominium that sleeps eight and a swimming pool, along with a $1,000 flight voucher. Following the reception, guests made their way indoors to a seated dinner catered by McConnell House, a live auction and a moving program about the children served by CASA. Finally, CASA advocate Valerie Canning spoke to the audience about the importance of Williamson County CASA and how the funds from the evening will benefit children throughout the county.

Voices for Children is Williamson County CASA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and all proceeds from the night directly benefit its mission. For more information about Williamson County CASA, visit www.williamsoncountycasa.org.
