Williamson County’s Second Quarterly Report is highlighting business development. One example of this was Jackson National Life and their regional headquarters move into Cool Springs. 500 hundred jobs accompanied this move to Middle Tennessee and of 44 cities the company chose to settle here.
“The Nashville area has a large and well-educated workforce and is home to many institutions of higher learning,” said Jackson Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer Mike Wells in a news release. Wells stated recently that the Middle Tennessee area has exceeded the company’s expectations. Jackson Life has been developing partnerships with local organizations and, recruiting talent and experience.
A recent addition to the facility is a new Information Technology Center. The department will have approximately 300 associates and will focus on growth of technology across the company. Jackson Life is now the 3rd largest seller of variable annuities in the U.S. A record net income in 2011 and continued support of retirement needs makes the outlook for this Williamson County business extremely bright.
