Williamson Business Expo Coming to The Factory

Over 50 Williamson County businesses will set up informational tables at Williamson Chamber’s business expo on Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Factory of Franklin, 230 Franklin Road.

The Chamber’s business expo is a triple-play event featuring a nationally known kickoff speaker, a wide range of business exhibits, and a mixer that includes food tastings from local caterers and wine, beer and other beverages.

The expo, which runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., will take the place of the Chamber’s regular monthly membership meeting in September. The expo will get started at 3 p.m. in Jamison Hall with a keynote address by author Sarah Sladek, a nationally known expert on engaging the young adults of the Millennial generation  ̶  also known as Generation Y ̶  in the workplace.  Sladek is the founder of XYZ University management consulting company, which since 2002 has worked to help organizations bridge generation and talent gaps.

As the speaker concludes around 4 p.m., exhibit booths will open in Liberty Hall as the mixer also gets underway.

Expo admission from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. – which includes Sladek’s address, booth exhibits and the mixer – is $30 for both Chamber members and non-members, who may register as guests.  The cost for the expo and mixer – not including Sladek’s address – is $20.  Two mixer drink tickets are included with all admissions.

TN Media, the premier presenting sponsor, will offer a free business seminar during the afternoon.  The session is free with expo admission.  No reservations are needed.

As of Aug. 14, business leaders have reserved seven of the 12 event sponsor spots at the Williamson business expo.  Event sponsors include Interior Design Services Inc., Livability.com, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, NovaCopy, South Wind Apartment Homes, Vanderbilt Health and Williamson Medical Center.  Event sponsors get premium exhibit locations and a larger booth, in addition to other promotional benefits.
