Local Food at Whole Foods
[divide]
Hatcher Family Dairy has been around for 175 years providing the best fresh milk available. In 2007 they began to process and pasteurize their own milk with a great deal of community support. The result speaks for itself, just pick some up and see.

My favorite is their chocolate milk, but you can’t go wrong with any choice you make. Supporting a local family business and a sustainable community is important to many Williamson County residents and Hatcher is a great place to patronize. You can go to their store or find them at Whole Foods.
The milk is pasteurized but not homogenized, meaning that the cream will be sitting on top when you get it home. Some people remove it and enjoy it separately and others just mix it in and drink it. Whole milk is a highly nutritious drink with Calcium and added fat that strengthens toddlers and children.

Hatcher milk is available in gallons, half-gallons and quarts. Their store is right on the farm and they have a full variety of products from other local farmers and craftsmen too. Wi-Fi is also available on site if you want to stay in touch with reality while you visit a piece of history in College Grove. Tours are available from September through November so don’t be shy, ask to see how they make such a fine product. Reservations are required to take a tour.
Drop by Monday – Friday from 8-5 or Saturday 9-1! For information and directions call (615) 368-3405.
Don’t forget, go in for lunch and have a fresh homemade sandwich as you enjoy a peaceful view from their patio!
