The count down to Taylor Swift’s concerts at Bridgestone Arena has begun! Swift’s “1989” tour is making a stop in Nashville, with 2 shows on Friday and Saturday night. At each of her concerts, Swift has had special guests make an appearance on stage with her, so we thought we would make a few guesses on who might be her special guests while she’s in Nashville.
As we look at her previous concerts, her special guests have included a celebrity guest plus a musical guest, with previous guests ranging from models to athletes to 90s sitcom actors. Ellen DeGeneres even made an appearance:
Let’s talk about the possibilities of who could be Taylor Swift’s special guests.
Since Swift is an animal lover, we think that Doug the Pug could be a strong possibility. If you don’t know Doug the Pug is a pup star, whose Instagram account is run by his proud owner and Nashville native Leslie Mosier. Doug has been featured in TIME, Huffington Post, Mashable, Buzzfeed, Good Morning America, and more.
Another celebrity guest could be Nicole Kidman or Nikki Taylor as they both have homes in the area.
Nashville is home to two professional sports teams, so maybe a Titan player. Could Marcus Mariota come out on stage to give a wave?
And for her musical guest? We are thinking Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson, Lennon & Maisy from the show Nashville, Blake Shelton (who has been in town this week),Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Brett Eldredge, or Steven Tyler? Just a few days ago, Dierks Bentley shared the stage with her on tour in Kansas City. Have you heard the new Ryan Adams version of the 1989 album? Maybe Ryan Adams will be in town.
Then with the Pilgrimage Festival in town, there are a host of acoustic bands in town. Maybe Weezer, Wilco, or Band of Horses?
