Spring Hill is celebrating the “Great American Backyard Campout”! When was the last time you spent a night out under the stars? On Saturday June 25, thousands of families will set up a tent in the backyard or a local park to celebrate life in the great outdoors.
The Great American Backyard Campout is sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation and is an important part of the organization’s “Be Out There” campaign. The “Be Out There” campaign is dedicated to getting children outside so they can enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. Camping out in the backyard is also a wonderful opportunity to observe and learn about the wildlife that surrounds us every day.
