Where to Vote on Election Day

Today is Election Day and polls are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. across the county for voters.

A record-breaking 1,675,679 people voted early or cast absentee ballots across the Volunteer State’s 95 counties from Oct. 19 through Nov. 3. That turnout easily beat the record set during the 2008 presidential election when 1,579,960 Tennesseans voted early in person or by mail, reports the Tennessee Department of State.

How to find out if you are registered to vote and your polling location:

If you aren’t sure if you are registered to vote, click here. You’ll be asked to fill out your county of residence, first and last name and birth year to determine if you are registered to vote.

There are 43 polling locations in Williamson County. The easiest way for voters to find their Election Day polling location, is through the GoVoteTN app. Voters can download the free app in the App Store or Google Play to view voter specific information. You can also click here to view a list of all polling locations.

Offices appearing on the ballot will include Republican and Democratic nominees and independent candidates for president and vice president, United States House of Representatives (7th Congressional District) and Tennessee House of Representatives (Districts 61, 63 and 65). Municipal candidates will also be seeking election in the city of Fairview (Three Commissioners), town of Nolensville (Two Aldermen) and town of Thompson’s Station (Two Aldermen).

Tennesseans voting on Election Day need to bring valid photo identification. A driver’s license or photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security as well as photo IDs issued by Tennessee state government or the federal government are acceptable even if they are expired. College student IDs are not acceptable.
