Where to Buy CASA Playhouse Raffle Tickets at Half Price

Williamson County CASA Puckett;'s

Downtown Franklin eateries Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant and Puckett’s Boat House are selling raffle tickets to win the Williamson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)’s 2018 playhouse. This nonprofit organization provides volunteers to advocate in court on behalf of children who have been in situations of neglect or abuse.

Through October, diners will be able to purchase a raffle ticket for just $10 from either restaurant to be entered in the drawing to win the playhouse. Tickets are normally sold for $20, but A. Marshall Hospitality, the parent company of Puckett’s, will cover the remaining $10 for each ticket purchased.

Designed by Darla Spears with ‘Defined, by Darla’, this year’s playhouse will be heavily influenced by the recent revival of mid-century modern trends and architecture. Valued at $6,000, the 60 sq. ft. playhouse is currently being constructed by Franklin Firefighters’ Charities for the fourth year in a row.

“Unfortunately, Williamson Counties’ population of abused and neglected children is growing, which means that CASA has to grow as well in order to serve these kids to the best of our abilities,” said Susan Reinfeldt, Director of Development at CASA. “We’re expecting to help over 700 children in 2018 alone, and this fundraiser provides crucial funds for CASA to continue supporting them in a meaningful way.”

All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit CASA, and the winner will be drawn on the Puckett’s stage at 2 p.m. on October 26.

“Puckett’s and Puckett’s Boat House make it so easy to support CASA and purchase a ticket simply by adding it to your bill,” said Reinfeldt. “The playhouse raffle is one of two major fundraisers that we have all year, and your support truly makes a positive impact on children in our own community.”

In addition to Puckett’s Gro., the 2018 Williamson County CASA Playhouse campaign is supported by Twice Daily, Little Sprouts Sale, Cameron Properties, Coyne Orthodontics, Franklin Realtors, R.G. Custom Homes, John Floyd Foundation, and Henry Drilling.

About Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant

With locations in downtown Franklin, downtown Nashville, downtown Columbia, downtown Chattanooga and downtown Murfreesboro, the Puckett’s roots go way back to the 1950s, and a little grocery store in the village of Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Ever since then, Puckett’s has been focused on providing friends new and old with great food and Southern hospitality.

When it comes down to it, Puckett’s is a community kitchen, with live pickin’ performances just a few feet from your table. Authentic comfort food—barbecue smoked slow ‘n’ low over cherry wood, the home-cooked sides, even a few upscale dishes—is what Puckett’s aims for you to remember.
