What’s Happening at WCS This Week?

WCS is doing amazing things every week for their students and the community. Take a look at some of what is going on below.

Bethesda Elementary School
Mrs. Rucker’s 2nd graders at Bethesda Elementary School learned about government services (September 3rd – September 6th). The children discovered that each of these services are provided to us by our government, and that our parent’s taxes pay for these services. Mrs. Kasick’s second graders are learning how to be detectives as they use text evidence to find details in literature.

The Spartans golf teams have been setting new records left and right this year.  The boys team score record was recently broken with a 158.  The boys individual score record has been tied three times this season.  Twice by Daniel Nelson and once by Skylar Cochran.  It’s obvious that the team is on the precipice of some really great achievements.  The girls team average is currently over .500 in one of the toughest districts in the state.  Both teams are heading towards the district tournament on Sept. 23rdwith high expectations.Z
