What to Know Before You Attend CMA Fest 2018

CMA Fest will take place from Thursday, June 7 – Sunday, June 10th in downtown Nashville with music all day. Before you head to take in the festivities, keep in mind the following advice regarding ridesharing, the bag policy and more.

CMA Fest posted on their website, “As one big Country Music loving community, help keep each other safe by reporting suspicious activity immediately. Call 615-880-1515 or, if there’s an emergency, call 911 directly.”

Rideshare Services:
Uber is the official rideshare partner of CMA Fest of 2018. Festival attendees can open their Uber app to find the rideshare pickup location closest to them, as well as follow the Uber signs on-site. Only CMA Fest authorized and credentialed vehicles (including golf carts, bicycles, scooters, etc.) are allowed on closed streets during the festival. Rideshare services will operate throughout downtown Nashville during CMA Fest. To use these services, passengers must be in the following designated pickup/drop off areas.

Rideshare 24 Hour Areas:
• On Broadway between Sixth to Seventh Avenues by the red bagged parking meters. Pickup/drop off areas will be located on both sides of the street.
• On Korean Veterans Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth Avenues where the parking spaces are located. There will be signage indicating pickup/drop off areas on both sides of the street.
• On Third Avenue between Commerce Street and Broadway by the red bagged parking meters. Pickup/drop off areas will only be located on the northbound side of the road.
• On Commerce Street between Third and Fourth Avenues by the red bagged parking meters. Pickup/drop off areas will only be located on the eastbound side of the road.
• On Second Avenue halfway between Broadway and Commerce Street and again on Second Avenue between Commerce and Church Streets by the red bagged parking meters. Pickup/drop off areas will be located on the side of the street farthest from Riverfront Park.

Rideshare after 6:00 PM and until 7:00 AM Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10:
• On Broadway between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in the designated pickup lane located on the eastbound side of the road (close to Bridgestone Arena). There will be signage indicating this pickup lane.
• On Fourth Avenue between Broadway and Demonbreun Street by the red bagged parking meters. Pickup/drop off areas will only be located on the southbound side of the road.

Rideshare at Nissan Stadium:
Drivers who drop off on the Korean Veterans Boulevard Bridge or in the bike lanes will be ticketed. Rideshare drivers must have identifying signage displayed to be allowed into the area.

Southside – Pre-Event:
On South First Street between the Korean Veterans Boulevard Bridge and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. Pickup/drop off areas will only be located on the northbound side of the road.
Southside – Post-Event:
In Parking Lot T located on South First Street at the bottom of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
Northside – Pre-Event:
On Woodland Street between South First and South Second Streets. Pickup/drop off areas will be located on both sides of the road.
Northside – Post-Event:
On Woodland Street between South First and South Second Streets. Pickup/drop off areas will be located on the westbound side of the road.

Bag Policies:
CMA Fest will follow the NFL’s clear bag policy at Nissan Stadium and all official festival locations. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 12” x 6” are allowed. All styles of clear bags are acceptable as long as they are 12″ x 12″ x 6″ or smaller – this includes clear cinch sacks, clear diaper bags, gallon Ziploc bags, etc. In addition to a clear bag, a small clutch bag or wallet no larger than 5.5” x 8.5” is allowed. Storage Lockers
Storage lockers will be available in the Nissan Stadium area, which fans can rent for $10 per day Thursday through Sunday, June 7-10 on the South end of the stadium at the base of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge from 10:00 AM until one hour after the Nissan Stadium show ends. Storage lockers will also be available on the North end of the stadium across from the ticket office on Russell Street from 6:00 PM until one hour after the show ends. All other areas/stages do not have bag check-in services or storage lockers available.
