What is going on at Ravenwood?

This weekend Broadway comes to Williamson County as the Ravenwood High School Theatre Department presents Cyrano de Bergerac. Playing November 1st -3rd at 7 p.m. and November 4th at 2 p.m., this famous French play is full of sword-play, romance and comedy.

Show up a half-hour early to 1724 Wilson Pike in Brentwood as the doors open for seating; tickets are only $8 at the door. The media students have produced a video to promote the show, and the art students created a poster to publicize the play. For more information contact Kelly Duyn, director and theatre teacher, at [email protected].

Also don’t miss Ravenwood’s “Dodge for a Cause.” This 4th annual tournament is on Saturday November 10th and features a boys and girls division. Team entry fees are only $100 and proceeds go to help a child through the Make-A-Wish foundation and to support orphaned girls in Moldova through Justice and Mercy International.  Last year Ravenwood raised $4800.

Competition starts at 9 a.m. in the RHS gym and is open to the public. Admission to watch is only $3 and concessions will be available for purchase. Please contact Stephanie Dykes at [email protected] for more information.
