Westhaven Porchfest Musician: Lucie Silvas

Lucie Silvas calls Nashville home, after starting her journey overseas. Born in London and raised in New Zealand, Silvas gained quick acclaim after debuting at the age of 17. While honing her craft, she’s had the opportunity to share the stage with artists including Elton John, Lionel Richie, Kacey Musgraves, Tom Jones and Jamiroquai, all while selling over one million albums.

“The biggest thing that Nashville has done for me as a person, and therefore as a songwriter is to provide the freedom just to be unapologetically myself,” Silvas said. I don’t know whether it’s living in Nashville or just being older now, but I feel like I can make whatever kind of music I want.”

Her new self-titled EP is now available, featuring her first single “Letters To Ghosts,” is no available.

Silvas is one of 100 performers hitting the stage, or porch, at this year’s Porchfest, at the Westhaven community in West Franklin.
