Weekly Predators Report: Cold Streak Over

Turns out, a little spring vacation to the West Coast was what the Nashville Predators needed to break out of their six-game losing streak.

The Preds have won two-of-three after being sent away from Nashville as the Southeastern Conference basketball tournament invaded Bridgestone Arena for the last five days.

During that span Nashville’s goals against average has dropped to 1.3 per game. During the losing streak it was 3.6.

Nashville needed a third-period comeback last night in Los Angeles as Craig Smith and Viktor Stalberg scored goals in the final period to best the Kings 2-1.

It was the 600th win in franchise history.

The Predators play their final game of the road trip tonight against Anaheim. Both teams are tied for first in the Western Conference standings with 93 points.

Anaheim won the previous two meetings with Nashville, winning 4-3 in a shootout and 5-2.
