WCSO Sets DUI Checkpoints for July 4th Holiday

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting DUI checkpoints in the evening hours on these dates:

Thursday, July 2, 2015 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Goose Creek Bypass

Friday, July 3, 2015 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. US Highway 431

Saturday, July 4, 2015 10 p.m. to midnight US Highway 31

The WCSO wants you to have a safe and happy Fourth of July holiday, so we are urging everyone to drive responsibly. If you are out celebrating with alcohol, use a designated driver. We also encourage patience when you drive because there will be more traffic during the holiday period and people will be in a rush to get to their destinations. And, when you drive or ride, always use your seatbelt even if you are traveling a short distance.

These efforts to stop impaired and irresponsible driving are paid for with grant money from the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

If you plan on drinking stay off the road and watch the Nashville Fireworks at home from AT&T streaming.
