spring hill murder

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to get information about the murder of a young man in Spring Hill last year. The body of Trevor Armstrong, 22, from Columbia, TN was found in a rural area of Williamson County near the Maury County line in the early morning hours on August 17. He had been shot to death in the driveway of a home on Sugar Ridge Road.

WCSO Criminal Investigators are wanting information about Trevor during the hours before he was fatally shot. Trevor had been disabled since he was in junior high and used a wheelchair and a cane. He did not drive. Detectives are trying to determine how he got to the location where his body was found and why he was there.

Trevor did not have a job because of his disability. He was the primary caregiver for his three-year-old daughter. His family is hoping someone will come forward with information to help find the person(s) responsible for his death. Trevor’s aunt will be available to talk to the media tomorrow February 28, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the WCSO at 408 Century Court, Franklin, TN. If you are interested in an interview, please let me know by email or telephone.
