Detective David Beard, a Williamson County Sheriff’s Office detective, was named Deputy of the Month for August. Beard and his favorite charity were honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs.
Toyota of Cool Springs will make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his honor. Detective Beard was selected for the award because of his exceptional work in incorporating DNA analysis in his investigations. He has worked at the WCSO for 29 years.
Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented a plaque to Detective Beard and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to St. Jude.
Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO deputy and a charity.
