WCSO Deputy Daniel Beard Honored with Award

Daniel Beard

A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputy and his favorite charity were honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs. Deputy Daniel Beard was named Deputy of the Month for July. Toyota of Cool Springs will make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in his honor.

Deputy Beard was on patrol near the Natchez Trace Bridge in late July when he saw two vehicles stopped on the bridge and then someone ran. His quick response saved a life that night. A woman had planned to jump from the bridge, but Deputy Beard convinced her to leave the area and he stayed with her until medical personnel arrived. Deputy Beard is the School Resource Officer at Poplar Grove Middle School. He has worked at the WCSO for two and a half years.

Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented a plaque to Deputy Beard and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to the Alzheimer’s Association

Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO deputy and a charity.
