A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office deputy and her favorite charity were honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs.  Deputy Cassandra Skinner was named Deputy of the Month for January.  Toyota of Cool Springs will make a donation to the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, an organization that provides services to people with the autoimmune skin disease that results in hair loss.  The Foundation also supports research to find a cure.

Deputy Skinner was given this award in recognition of her efforts that helped save an inmate who tried to commit suicide.  She has worked for the WCSO for seven months and is assigned to the Detention Division.

Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented a plaque to Deputy Skinner and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.

Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO deputy and a charity.
