WCSO Deputy, Charity Honored with Award

A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and his favorite charity were honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs. Deputy Steve Mitchell was named Deputy of the Month for April. Toyota of Cool Springs will make a donation to the organization Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) in his honor. C.O.P.S. provides resources to family and co-workers of law enforcement officers who are killed in the line of duty.

Deputy Mitchell was given this award in recognition of his lifesaving efforts while responding to a medical call. He performed CPR until EMS paramedics arrived. He has worked for the WCSO for almost 10 years and is assigned to the Patrol Division.

Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented a plaque to Deputy Mitchell and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to C.O.P.S.

Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO deputy and a charity.
