Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) Corporal Keith Bennett received a 2013 Hope Award this week for saving the life of a teenager. He rescued a teen from the Cumberland River this past spring when the young man went into distress in the water. The rescue followed the annual BGA Tug of War.
The award comes from the Full Life Assembly of God in Franklin. The Assembly honors three law enforcement officers and firefighters each year in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11th, 2001.
