The top volunteers of Williamson County Schools were honored April 24 at the 22nd annual Shining Apple Awards ceremony.
Honorees in each of the district’s 44 schools were recognized for their service to the students of Williamson County. The event was sponsored by the Williamson County Board of Education.
“There’s no substitute for people,” said Deputy Superintendent Jason Golden. “The work these volunteers are doing in our schools makes a difference in the lives of students, and we wouldn’t be the school district we are today without them.”
