Williamson County Schools (WCS) is hosting a Common Core Presentation for students, staff, parents and the community on Monday, April 29th. You are invited to join Tennessee Commissioner of Education Kevin Huffman, SCORE President/CEO Jamie Woodson and Williamson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney for Let’s Talk School: Common Core.
The auditorium of the People’s Church, 828 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin will fill up prior to 6 p.m. and the meeting should take about a half hour. This is a panel discussion and question & answer regarding the Common Core curriculum in the state. Come out and learn the facts about these standards and what it means to you and your student.
