WCS Students Earn Perfect SAT, ACT Scores

SAT

From WCS inFocus

Seven more Williamson County Schools students have aced their college readiness exam.

Brentwood High students Derrick Chen, Owen Atkinson, Jack Holcombe and Aspen Martin all earned the elusive perfect 36 composite score, as did Franklin High’s Evelyn Lanai and Ravenwood High’s Matthew Goodbred.

Brentwood High student Yi Qu went a different testing route, but she was just as successful as she earned a perfect SAT composite score.

Both the ACT and the SAT assess how prepared a student is for college. The ACT consists of tests in English, reading, math and science and is scored on a scale of 1-36, with a student’s composite score being the average of the four individual test scores. The SAT includes tests in writing and language, reading and math and is scored on a scale of 400-1600.
