Williamson County resident Vickie Hall has been selected as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for Williamson County Schools. Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney made the announcement June 12.

Hall will replace Dr. Leigh Webb who is assuming the role of Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools.

Hall has served as the Director of Human Resources for the Tennessee Department of Education for the past seven years and as Assistant General Counsel for the TDOE for three and a half years prior to that time.

“Vickie is a highly experienced HR professional and attorney whose work has spanned the State of Tennessee,” said Looney. “Her experience and her positive demeanor make her a perfect fit to lead this department.”

In addition to her work with the TDOE, Hall served as the Director of Policy for the Tennessee School Boards Association for four years and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General for seven years.

“I am excited to join an excellent organization in a special community,” said Hall. “I have been a Williamson County resident for 20 years, and I know this district is second to none. I look forward to working with the administrators, teachers and staff as we continue to build on a tradition of excellence.”

Hall earned her Bachelor’s in Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Nashville School of Law. She will begin her new role in July.
