WCS Middle Schools Rank High in Top School List

An online ranking website has rated all nine Williamson County middle schools among the top 20 in their list of Best Public Middle Schools in Tennessee for 2015.

The Niche website ranked Hillsboro Middle School 1st in Tennessee for Best Public Middle Schools out of 100 middle schools across the state of Tennessee.

This detailed level of care has allowed us to continually make growth with all of our students,” says Hillsboro Principal Kari Miller.

When asked how they planned on staying successful in the future, Principal Miller said, “We plan to continue our current philosophy of meeting each and every student where they are, thereby instilling a love of learning in all of our fantastic scholars, artists, musicians, and athletes.”

Niche ranks the schools based on test scores, school ratings, and their own proprietary data. It provides a broad assessment of the overall experience at public middle schools in all 50 states.

Page Middle School was ranked number 5 with Sunset Middle coming in at number 7. Woodland, Heritage, and Grassland ranked 11,12, and 13th. Spring Station ranked 15th with Fairview Middle at number 16.

Best Public Middle Schools ranks 19,710 middle schools based on key student statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents. A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences.
