WCS Fine Arts Festival This Weekend

The inaugural Williamson County Schools Fine Arts Festival will take place this weekend (March 28-29) and tickets are still available! This event, which is being held in partnership with the Franklin Theatre and The Factory at Franklin, will give students from across the county a chance to display their incredible artistic talent.  Presentations will include art displays, band and choral performances, theatre performances and more.

Here’s a rundown of the festivities:

Friday, March 28th
Benefit concert by Baillie & the Boys at the Franklin Theatre.
Doors open at 7p, concert begins at 8p
Purchase tickets to this concert at franklintheatre.com
Silent auction, items include: a Forks Drum Closet ukulele personalized and signed by the band and used on stage, Nashville symphony tickets, Nashville Ballet tickets & merchandise, and items from Stonebridge Gallery.

Saturday, March 29th
Activities all day from 9a-6p at The Factory at Franklin, including non-stop student performances and a free concert from the Nashville Symphony Chamber Ensemble at 4:15p.

Independence High School Tri-M music honor society will sponsor a donation drive to support the symphony and their education outreach programs.

Attendees can also drop off new and gently used instruments, which provide WCS students who cannot afford to buy or rent their own instruments.
