The 2018-19 schedule is pretty comparable to this year— the school year is beginning in the second week of August and there will be 177 instructional days, just as the current school year.

Start of School: First day is Friday Aug 10, 2018 (half-day)
End of School: Friday May 24, 2019 (half-day)

Students will be out of school 3 days for Fall Break (October 17 through 19), 5 days for Thanksgiving Break (November 19-23), 10 days for Winter Break (December 24 through January 2, with a half day on the 21st and two administrative days with no students added on to make the first day back January 7) and 5 days for Spring Break (Monday March 18 through Friday March 22). In addition to the usual school breaks, students will have 8 additional days off for administrative and professional development days throughout the year. Students will also have Labor Day (Sept. 3), Election Day (Nov. 6), Martin Luther King, Jr, Day (Jan. 21) and Spring Holiday (April 19) off.

  1. I believe the years listed in the dates below the first paragraph are incorrect. That should be August 10, 2018 and May 24, 2019?
