The Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) department has scheduled a summer of fun for your children and all you have to do is sign them up and get them to their camp. You can still register for summer day camp this Tuesday and Thursday at the Franklin Recreation Complex for the Bethesda, Grassland, Hunters Bend and Nolensville camps. Come in from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to register.
Parents should download; print and complete the registration form packet (one per family) and the medical information form (one per child) for either program, and bring the forms to registration. Forms, payment details and other camp requirements are available at www.wcparksandrec.com. For more information about summer day camp, contact Trish Bilbrey at (615) 790-5719, ext. 2044 or the special events line, ext. 2038.
WCPR is also offering educational art, science and theatre camps for ages 3 and older at the Franklin Recreation Complex. Children will have the opportunity to paint, draw, learn acting skills, become kitchen chemists, build with Legos, learn about great artists, pretend to be pirates, go on a surfin’ safari, perform on stage and more. Camp sessions are two to five days each. Check out this line up of camps.
