Wednesday evening, patrons at Robert’s Western World on Broadway in Nashville, got a rare treat when Americana Award winner Jason Isbell, jumped on stage and sang.
After winning Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the 15th Annual Americana Music Festival Awards, held at the Ryman, Isbell was seen playing on stage at Robert’s with his wife/musician Amanda Shires.
The two sang Merle Haggard’s “Sing Me Back Home.” If you missed his performance, you still have a chance to see Isbell. He performs Sunday afternoon at Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin.
