Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots released an album in March which included this song “Fishin’ with my Dad.”
“I never had a dad growing up until later, later on in life and I was always jealous of people who did have dads and so all the references in the song ‘Fishin’ with My Dad’ are exactly my life. And so we made the song about a kid who was jealous because he would see other kids with a dad and he always wanted a dad.”
