Shopping just got sweeter at The Factory in Franklin. Family owned Walker Creek Confections is currently under construction, opening in June.
Family owned and operated by Bruce Mott and Cathy McCook, Walker Creek Confections is dedicated to traditional recipes to create small batch, hand crafted, fine candies including Almond Toffee, Gourmet Caramels, and Southern Pecan Pralines. Â Their candies are hand crafted in their kitchen using only the finest ingredients without preservatives or artificial additives. And they partner locally whenever possible for ingredients.
What started out as a hobby became a business when they made toffee for family and friends from their home on Walker Creek in Alexandria, TN. After many requests to purchase their candy for gifts, Walker Creek Confections was born. As the business grew through a couple of holiday seasons, demand outgrew their home kitchen.
Today, their kitchen, packaging, and retail store are housed in the historic American Hardware Co. building in Watertown, Tennessee. They also have a retail store in East Nashville, at the Idea Hatchery and coming soon to The Factory at Franklin.
