Acclaimed country hit maker and colon cancer survivor Wade Hayes is set to host the 2nd Annual Country Hits Back concert supporting the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center at Franklin Theatre at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Joining him will be Randy Owen, Country Music Hall of Fame member and lead singer of Alabama, and multi-platinum award winning singer/songwriter Tracy Lawrence.

In December of 2011, at age 42, Wade was diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer. Successful surgery and chemotherapy removed cancer. A year later, Wade was devastated to learn cancer had returned. He received additional treatments, and today he has no evidence of disease. Following that good news, his oncologist, Dr. Jordan Berlin, M.D., Ingram Professor of Cancer Research and co-director of the GI Oncology Program, advised him to “go live your life.” He took the advice to heart and last year recorded and released an album called Go Live Your Life.

Tickets range from $79.00-100.00 and are available at FranklinTheatre.com. Click here to purchase tickets.
