Over the weekend, Southern rock musician and Leiper’s Fork resident, Chris Stapleton shared some exciting news with fans at his Madison Square Garden concert in New York.
Stapleton and wife Morganne just welcomed twin boys to their family in April 2018. And now, just seven months later, their family is growing again, Stapleton told the audience.
“I’ve got an announcement to make. Some of you may know that we have four children. We just had twins about seven months ago. Now that’s four for us, but we’re gonna make it five,” says Stapleton. In Stapleton’s announcement, he didn’t mention when the addition is set to arrive.
The Blast shared a video with the good news. Back in April, after the twin boys, Macon and Samuel were born, it was Reba McEntire who relayed the exciting update during the ACM Awards.
Stapleton is a top nominee in the upcoming CMA Awards taking place on November 14 in Nashville. With nominations in categories of Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.
