Vanderbilt is looking to open their season with a victory for the first time since 2011. A win against the Blue Raiders would make it three in a row for Derek Mason’s team who returns 16 starters. A growing Rivalry that combats Middle Tennessee’s high octane offense against Vandy’s reliable defense. Junior QB Brent Stockstill leads the way for Middle after throwing for over 3,000 yards and 31 touchdowns a season ago. Vandy will try to pound the rock with Vanderbilt all-time leading rusher Ralph Webb.
