Local bachelors and bachelorettes will be “auctioned” in a fun event to benefit Williamson County Animal Center.  Harley Davidson of Cool Springs is hosting a Valentine’s After Hours party on February 12 featuring live music, food, prizes and a bachelor/bachelorette auction to benefit the shelter.

Laura Chavarria, director of Williamson County Animal Center, stated, “Harley Davidson of Cool Springs is one of our biggest local supporters, and we are excited about participating in this fun event,” Chavarria said.

“One of our animal control officers will be in the auction,” she added. “Of course, it’s all in fun, and raises awareness for the shelter.”

The Valentine’s After Hours party is sponsored by Papa Boudreaux’s, Bonefish Grill, Granite City and Café Fontanella. Live entertainment will feature singer Amanda Page Cornett. For a preview of the event, go to

Williamson County Animal Center is located at 106 Claude Yates Dr., next to Franklin High School, (615) 790-5590.  Adoptable animals can be viewed at or at the center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
