Urgent Call for Love

Williamson-County-Animal-Control-and-Adoption-Center

The Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center urges residents to consider adoption today. The location at 106 Claude Yates Drive beside Franklin High School is at full capacity. 60 cats and 40 dogs are waiting for a caring heart to scoop them up and offer a home.

“Right now, we are at capacity. The need for adoptive families is critical. We need members of the community to step up and give our cats and dogs permanent homes. Photos of all our adoptable animals are on our website, www.adoptwcac.org,” said Doug Brightwell, director.

Adoption fees cover any care the animal has received and all the necessary shots. Dogs are only $65 and cats are $45. Adoption families receive a Pedigree pet starter kit with each adopted dog.

The center is open Monday–Friday 10-6 & Saturday 11-3.

Pets were available for adoption at the Living Green Expo and the Ag Expo this past Saturday but many more animals still need homes!
