The City of Franklin gives this updated on report on some of the major roads:

franklin roadCity street crews continue to plow and salt snow routes. While conditions have improved, motorists are advised to use caution and avoid driving, if possible. A number of our main streets in Franklin are state routes and the responsibility of the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). These main state roads include Mack Hatcher, Murfreesboro Rd. (96 East), 96 West, Hillsboro Road, Lewisburg, Columbia from Downs south and I-65. We are checking with TDOT on this situation. The heavy rain yesterday evening severely limited the ability to do pre-treatment, which has in part made the response to this winter storm more challenging. All crews—TDOT, City, County—are doing their best to treat the roads. Stay home if you can, use extreme caution if you need to get out.
