Unite Williamson Changes Location of Oct 20 Inaugural Prayer Breakfast

Unite Williamson

Unite Williamson’s prayer breakfast on Saturday, October 20th was originally scheduled to take place at Harlinsdale Park in Franklin from 9 a – 10:30 a. Due to the condition of the grounds at Harlinsdale Farm, the event will continue on the same day but at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park,1368 Eastern Flank Circle, Franklin.

Franklin Mayor, Dr. Ken Moore, founded the organization – not in his official capacity as mayor, but as a resident of the Williamson County community- after witnessing the response of a diverse faith-based community following the shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC.

“We are excited to extend this invitation to the Williamson County community,” offered Dr. Ken Moore, Founder and President of Unite Williamson Board of Governors. “Our hope is that those who attend this inaugural event will take the hope, unity and encouragement that this event generates back to their neighborhoods, businesses and communities,” said in a release.

Keynote speaker for the event will be Franklin Police Chief, Deb Faulkner. The program will include a community choir of children from across the county and a guest soloist. Williamson County mayors and local leaders from faith-based organizations will share words of encouragement and lead attendees in a moment of prayer.

Unite Williamson organizers are inviting everyone from across the county to participate but say there is limited capacity for this year’s event. Tickets to the breakfast are $5 and may be purchased at Unite Williamson.
