Crockett Elementary third graders have been working on their typing skills during computer lab.
Williamson County Schools use a web-based program called Type to Learn 4 for typing education in the elementary schools. Since the program is web-based, students can work on the program from home as well as school by downloading the application software.
Students should be able to demonstrate the ability to key 20 gross words a minute on a 3 minute timed writing by fifth grade.
