Two WilCo Restaurants Make Inc. Magazine List

A. Marshall Family Foods Inc. — which includes Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant, Puckett’s Boat House and Homestead Manor has been named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list of fastest -growing private companies. A second time placement on the  list coming in at 2475 experiencing a 152% growth with revenue of $13.9 million.

Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant will also be featured on Burgers, Brew & ‘Que–a new Food Network show hosted by Iron Chef,Michael Symon, on  Friday, August 14 at 9:30 pm for their “Sweet & Smokey” episode. The segment follows Michael to Cleveland, Brooklyn and then on to Nashville. As the show says: his last stop is “a barbecue institution in Nashville is giving creamy mac and cheese a juicy pulled pork kick to the diners’ delight.”

Frothy Monkey also  earned the position of 1416 on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies. Frothy Monkey experienced a 292.82% increase in revenue between 2011 and 2014. To qualify, companies must have generated revenue by March 31, 2011, have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2011, have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2014, be privately held, for profit, independent, and based in the U.S.

Frothy Monkey’s growth has exploded, expanding to include three full service restaurant locations in Nashville and Franklin, a coffeehouse at Grimey’s Too – Howlin Books, and a Bakery in East Nashville. In 2014 coffee sales had reached a volume that justified bringing coffee roasting in-house. Frothy Monkey Roasting Co. opened it’s Nashville based operation at the INK Building in the spring of 2015 after spending the prior year roasting at a partner facility in St. Louis.
