This is a Family owned and operated business, explained Mark Kamp, as we sat in their taproom just before it opened last week. He and his brothers Andrew and David have all had large parts in the designing and marketing of the product. Their parents Mark Senior and Debbra are also highly involved in the undertaking.

Currently the brewery is offering 4 unique brews and is distributing through Lipmann Brothers. They have the “Aurumglass” a golden ale perfect for this hot summer. Gambrinus Honey Malt and bitter orange peel set this ale apart giving you a rich malt backbone with a hint of orange flavor. “Another Way to Rye,” is their India Pale Ale and is truly a pleasure to drink if you are an IPA fan. Rye malt, leave a red hue to this well rounded IPA and the addition of hops late in the process gives the beer a pronounced citrus aroma and flavor.

They also have a “Portly Stout” that is robust but creamy smooth making it very drinkable. Mark says try it if you don’t think you are a dark beer drinker, it may change your mind. Their current rotational is “At Wits End,” a traditional Belgian Witbier made with coriander and orange. It is an unfiltered wheat ale with a cloudy appearance and is a perfect thirst quencher.
