Tucker’s House Receive Grant

Tucker’s House is proud to announce that it has received a $15,150.00 Quality of Life grant from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. The award was one of 84 grants totaling over $704,000 awarded by the Reeve Foundation to nonprofit organizations nationwide that provide more opportunities,access, and daily quality of life for individuals living with paralysis,their families, and caregivers. Conceived by the late Dana Reeve,the program has awarded over 2,500 grants totaling over $18.9 million since 1999.

Tucker’s House will use the grant to renovate 3 bathrooms for 3 children with varying disabilities.

It is a great honor to be awarded this grant from the Christopher & Dana Reese Foundation. The mission of Tucker’s House partners beautifully with the mission of the Reeve Foundation by greatly improving the quality of life for those that need modificaitons to their home for accessibility,safety and an environment to be as independent as possible.
