On Monday April 4th, Tennessee Soccer Club will be leaving their cleats at home, when they hold their second annual golf tournament at the Brentwood Country Club. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 AM.
For this second annual tournament, TSC has gotten sponsorships from more than 30 local, regional, and national sponsors, including Westhaven Golf Club, A Moment’s Peace Day Spa, and the Nashville Predators.
All proceeds raised from the golf tournament go to the Tennessee Soccer Club’s Financial Aid Committee. The committee helps to support players and players’ families in need of assistance with their TSC participation fees. Last year’s tournament raised $5,300 worth of financial aid for players involved with Tennessee Soccer Club.
“We are very excited to host our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament in support of the Tennessee Soccer Club Financial Aid fund on April 4,” said tournament director Jimmy Drain. “Last year was a huge success and we look to improve on those efforts next week. We thank all of our supports, sponsors, donors, and of course the golfers that will attend. The extra funds helped TSC support additional players in 2015 and it’s our goal to aid even more players in the coming year.”
