TSC Hosts Battleground Tournament of Champions

This weekend, 252 boys and girls soccer teams from around the Southeast and Midwest will descend upon 30 fields across Williamson County for Tennessee Soccer Club’s Battleground Tournament of Champions.

The Battleground Tournament of Champions is a growing event hosted by Tennessee Soccer Club in Nashville and its surrounding areas. This tournament attracts club teams from Regions 2 & 3, which includes teams from Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, and other states within a 6-hour drive of Nashville. Teams include state champions, finalists, and other high-quality youth academy teams. With all the quality teams, Tennessee Soccer Club has created high-level brackets in every age group, ranging in boys from Under 9 to Under 19 and for girls, Under 9 to Under 16.

Participating clubs include: FC Alliance, Murfreesboro Soccer Club, Midsouth Futbol Club,
Tennessee Soccer Club, St. Louis Scott Gallagher, Lexington FC, Tennessee
United Soccer Club, Arlington Soccer Academy, Birmingham United Soccer
Association, Collierville Soccer Association, Cincinnati United, Huntsville
Alabama Futball Club, Kings Hammer Soccer Club, Tri-State Futbol Alliance,
United Soccer, VHSC

Beginning Friday night, teams will kick off games at both the Williamson County Soccer Complex off of Downs Blvd. in Franklin and Crockett Park in Brentwood. Local teams begin the Friday evening games at 5:30, whereas more teams from out-of-town teams will begin 7:30 on Saturday morning.
