TSC Announces Director of Recreation & Grassroots Soccer

Dan Sidebottom, Tennessee Soccer Club

Tennessee Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Dan Sidebottom will be leading the Recreational and Grassroots soccer programming beginning this 2019-20 season.

“I am happy to join TSC, a growing club that is developing soccer in the Nashville community and across the state of Tennessee,” said Dan. “I am looking forward to getting on the field and positively impacting each member of the TSC family that I interact with.”

In his new role, Dan will oversee the Tennessee Soccer Club HYSA Rec program that will be held at the TSC Nashville location. This is a new program for TSC, however HYSA is one of the most long-standing rec soccer leagues in the state. Dan will also take the lead with all grassroots initiatives the club pursues throughout Nashville, Williamson County and Murfreesboro.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dan to our staff and are confident in his ability to lead our Rec program,” said TSC Executive Director Stuart Brown. “He brings experience working with players, coaches and volunteers to successfully manage a league of similar size from his time in New England.”

Before moving to TSC, Dan was the Director of Coaching with Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club in Gastonbury, CT. He also worked with Major League Soccer (MLS) club New England Revolution as Academy Technical Coordinator in 2018-2019. Dan holds his USSF B License, as well as several United Soccer Coaches diplomas and his FA Level 1 and FA Level 2 badges.
