The Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd., now offers open adult Pickleball on Monday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Three courts are available in the gym, and newcomers are welcome. This is a recreational format, not a league. Pickleball paddles are available for use. Drop by on Monday night and try this new wildly popular game. The cost is included in facility admission.
Played a 44’ by 20’ court with a 3’ high net, Pickleball is an indoor racquet sport for adults that combines features of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Using a paddle and a plastic ball, Pickleball can be played in a singles or doubles format.
