Donald Trump will be in Nashville just a few weeks from now, speaking at the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA) bi-annual convention Aug. 29. Every four years, NFRA holds a Presidential Preference Endorsing Convention and Straw Poll. While all 2016 Republican presidential candidates have been invited, the leading candidate-to-date is the first to confirm his presence at this significant event.

The three-day convention, featuring national speakers, authors and candidates, will be held Aug. 28 – 30 at Rocketown in Nashville. Click here for ticket information.

The board meeting, featuring Rep. Louie Gohmert, K. Carl Smith and Steve Hayes, Chairman and President of FAIRtax.org will be held Fri., Aug. 28 at the Nashville Marriott.

As the above video shows, Trump is a proponent of the FAIRtax, saying recently on MSNBC that the current tax code is too complicated. “You have to simplify the tax code, at a minimum,” says Trump. “You could go to the FAIRtax….”

FAIRtax.org is nationwide, nonpartisan grassroots organization dedicated to simplifying the tax code in a fair, easy-to-understand manner. It’s a system that allows you to keep your entire paycheck and only spend taxes on what you spend.

  1. The only problem with Fairtax — the fine print, the other taxes. Only pat of Fairtax is that retail sales tax. They also have massive other taxes. In fact, the personal retail sales tax, paid at “point of purchase” is the smaller part of fairtax. The other taxes are the biggest part of Fairtax.
