Trinity Fall Festival Exceeded Expectations

The First Annual Trinity Elementary School (TES) Fall Festival exceeded expectations said the PTO committee planners. More than 1,000 attendees from families and the community made Friday night’s festivities worth every second of time and effort put forth. Almost 100 percent attendance was seen from the student body of roughly 530.

The 20 games and activities, three food vendors, bake sale and silent auction kept everyone busy and having a great time. Student favorites included the Color Me Wild, hair and face painting station aboard the FADDs Glow Party Bus. The bus was reserved for 5th graders from 6:30-7:30. “The smiles were contagious and our campus was hopping with excitement,” continued Schwartz. “I was once again reminded how blessed we are at Trinity.”

A custom-made leather jacket from renowned designer, Manuel Cuevas was the highlight of the sale. Shannon Nussey, mother of two TES students, won the piece. “I am so excited to have the jacket, it fits me perfectly. Now I’m on the search for the right pair of shoes.”

Principal Schwartz announced that this will be a recurring event after the successful night. “Thank you, thank you to all who attended and volunteered during Romp & Stomp 2013,” said Schwartz. “We had a record-breaking night. It just doesn’t get any better than that.”
