Do you ever wish you could freeze a moment? Well, there’s a new viral trend doing just that called the mannequin challenge.
Starting at a high school in Jacksonville, Florida the trend has reached celebrities, political candidates, sports teams and even FLOTUS – Michelle Obama took part in the challenge with LeBron James (video below).
Here’s how it works. You stand still for about one minute while someone shoots video of the crowd and there ‘s even a mannequin song that is to be played -Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles.”
As you will see in the videos below, those who take part stop mid-step or mid-high five, the possibilities are endless. But don’t confuse it with mannequin dancing – we’ll get to that one later.
