Big Shake’s Hot Chicken & Fish in Franklin is known for hot chicken, so hot that it will set your mouth on fire. And so hot that the Travel Channel is coming to the restaurant on Dec 9 to feature their “Death Row Challenge.”
The “Death Row Challenge” dares participants to eat extremely hot chicken in just 10 minutes. If you can eat all of the chicken before the end of the time limit, you win $25 and your picture is placed on the wall along with others who were able to complete the challenge. Apparently, the chicken is so hot that participants sign a release form before taking the challenge.
